Golf
Regularly scheduled weekly events are hosted by our Men's and Women's Golf Associations along with mixed twilight events throughout the year. As you would expect a full array of challenging events are offered by the club including our flagship men's and women's invitational in the fall. Our professional staff, headed by 20 year professional Bob Patton, offers a full array of services, merchandise, equipment and instruction for every level of player.The course is regularly walked by over a third of member rounds and our average round is 4 hours and 18 minutes. The course has 31,000 rounds annually which allows pleanty of open play by all members in a year round golf calendar.
Tennis
Recognized to have one of the Island's best facilities, our tennis program is active for players of all ages. We have 8 USTA teams competing with the Island's USTA league throughout the first half of the year. Our tennis committee also insures that we have a full array of social tennis hosting functions such as the Wood-Racket Championship, Margarita Day, Fourth of July, and many other events anchored by our nationally ranked tennis professional and his staff.Boating; Kayaking; Fishing
Our Long Cove Yacht Club is one of the fastest growing "clubs within a club" with over 170 families belonging to this deversified group. The Yacht Club hosts 35 events throughout the year that involve boating excursions with our fleet of 60 boats owned by our members, several social events, monthly kayak excursions and fishing activities throughout the local area including deep sea fishing and our own private lagoon fishing as well. Usage of the dock/kayak facilities is included for residents.
